Ghanaian payslip generator
Create a clean, printable Ghanaian payslip in cedis (GHS) in your browser: enter basic salary, allowances, PAYE withheld for the Ghana Revenue Authority, and the employee SSNIT contribution, and the generator calculates gross pay, total deductions, and net pay. No sign-up, and nothing you type leaves your device.
Ghanaian payslip components
A Ghanaian payslip separates basic salary from allowances (rent, transport) and lists statutory deductions individually: PAYE withheld for the GRA under the Income Tax Act 2015 (Act 896), and the employee SSNIT contribution under the National Pensions Act 2008 (Act 766). Bands and rates are revised periodically, so confirm current figures with the GRA and SSNIT before running payroll.
How to create a Ghanaian payslip
- Enter employer, employee, staff number, pay period, and payment date
- List basic salary and each allowance separately
- Enter PAYE and the employee SSNIT contribution as separate deduction lines
- Check gross pay minus total deductions equals the net pay you will transfer
- Print or save the payslip as a PDF
Payslip formula
Net pay = total earnings − total deductions. The employer SSNIT share, including Tier 2 paid to a private trustee scheme, is a company cost and should not appear as an employee deduction.
